8.14.2019

Jim finished cleaning up the core for the brake caliper and got it all packaged up to send back.  I mailed it back this morning.

Then Jim was back up on the roof.  His first job was to cut a piece of steel angle for the bottom of the dormer to use for attaching sheathing.

Then he installed the bottom window frame piece...

So then cutting sheathing and bringing it up was next!  Jim cut the piece in half to make it easier not only to carry up but to cut the window opening.

Once he got it all fastened, time to cut the window out.

One side done!

Next side going into place...

Then Jim got it all fastened and started cutting out the window opening...

All done...

Next, Jim brought up the trim board for underneath the fascia and started attaching...

Stopping point on the dormer for the day!

Jim's next job was not so glamorous...time to do more cleaning of the car to get rid of the mouse smell.  Jim hated to take apart the lining of the car because clips break and things never go back together quite the same, but it was a necessary evil.

You can see how much of a mess the mouse made.

They pretty much ate all the insulation off this area...

The vacuum was full of insulation!  Crazy.

We cleaned it as best we could; Jim is going to see if he can put some screen over where he thinks the mouse got in.  Always a struggle to keep nature out.
High 79/Low 55 - beautiful!
