Jim started out the day by going to Bobcat to see if they had the part that broke - thankfully they did! But there must have been issues with the design of the old part...they completely redid it. So even though Jim spent all that time getting the broken piece out, he had to buy the whole redesigned part.
After lunch, he went to work putting the new piece in, greasing everything up and making sure it worked.
Once we got up into the apartment, it was time to build another wall - this time the hallway/kitchen wall. Jim got the lower wall plate cut, then put down the glue...

Then starting to fasten it to the floor.
I got to finish putting the screws in.
Then Jim cut the bottom track...
Punched it...
Then we fastened it down to the wall plate.
Time for studs!

Working on a few more... We've about used up all the steel we have which helps Jim know exactly what he needs to order next.
