Jim put up a stud that will act as the support for the floor we will put in this space to use for attic storage.
Then it was time for studs in the wall leading into the bathroom...
This stud basically ties 3 walls together - the front living room wall and both the side and front bathroom walls.
That means that Jim had to do a lot of fastening in this area.
The last stud in the front bathroom wall.
This is the view when you walk into the apartment now!
Next, Jim put a piece of track that he will use to fasten the top door frame.
Fastening it into place...
A piece of track attaches to the end studs for the door frame.
After I left, Jim got the other side of the door frame attached and started cutting some more steel that we'll use tomorrow!
