6.6.2019

Jim took all the clamps off the door this morning - beautiful!  He cut the edges off to make it the right height.  He'll have to work on the milling next.

We then moved the painted cabinet over to the workbench to free up space for Jim to work on the next cabinet.

He first had to do all the prep work to cover up the inside of the cabinet.  Then he started painting...

Painting the top...

All done and drying!

The carburetor that Jim ordered for the compactor came in yesterday so that was the next project on the docket.  You can see he really had to take things apart to get access to the carburetor.

But he got it all back together and it started on the first pull and ran great!  Such a relief!

Compacting the side area next to the pole barn...

And the gravel inside the pole barn...

All done...

Jim has to backfill around the skirt of the pole barn - this back is going to be challenging.  He brought a scoop of dirt over in the Bobcat and started shoveling.

You can see why this is such a challenge - on a steep hill with scaffolding all the way across the back.  Jim got about 1/3 done - we'll work on it tomorrow.

It's trash day tomorrow so Jim used the chain saw to cut up our last old pallet to put it in the trash.  Then he had to end the day by cutting grass.
High 73/Low 49 - beautiful!
