6.5.2019

This morning, Jim worked on the next steps in gluing the door.  He first put the remaining panels in...

Then glued the last side on...

He also prepped one of the cabinets for painting.  He has to be very careful because he only wants to paint the frame and cabinet - not any part of the inside.  First he placed tape on the inside of the face frame with the sticky side out.

Then he cut a piece of plastic the exact size of the opening and sealed it to the tape.

It was supposed to possibly rain later in the afternoon, so after lunch, Jim headed to do some outside work before the rain came.  He marked the general location of the underground electric conduit because he'll have to decide how he wants to place conduit to go inside the pole barn.

Then it was back to working on the edges of the upper driveway and making dirt to bring down around the pole barn.

 Grading it off...

He also brought up a lot of bucketsful of rocks from our giant pile.  Besides making a good base, we are going to use them on this slope to stop erosion.

End-of-the-day picture outside.  He's getting the area next to the pole barn built up nicely - the plan is that this area could be used for some type of storage area, whether it's a vehicle or just something like the Bobcat forks.

But the work day wasn't finished.  Jim came in and started getting ready to paint.

 Working on the sides...

And the top...

All painted!

After cleaning up from that job, Jim finally called it a day!
