Jim worked inside this morning - got more organizing done in both shops and made more drip edge.
Unfortunately, much of the afternoon was devoted to moving scaffolding - definitely not Jim's favorite. The next spot to work on is putting up the shoulder on the other side of the gable front. In order to reach that area, we need scaffolding. Jim decided to take all but the very bottom tower down from the back of the stairwell.
Unfortunately, this was put up in winter and the bottom is now buried! Jim needed to adjust it a little in order to get the very top tower out from under the edge of the roof. So he had to do a little digging in order to unearth the adjustable feet.
Then we started setting up in the front...
Building up...
...and up!
Jim also dismantled the tower at the opposite end - won't need that for awhile either. It would be great if we had enough scaffolding that we could leave everything up, but for all that we have, it's never enough.
Starting to investigate putting the shoulder on.
Jim had to do a little modification on the shoulder - it's all ready to be put up now. At the end of the day, he did more grading work too.
