May started out as an on/off drizzly kind of day and being a Sunday, also a short work day.  But Jim still managed to get lots done, of course!

Since he had to work inside, he first worked on the staircase.  The top treads needed to be notched to custom fit with the attachments to the landings.  So he got that done.

Then he switched gears and started working on the utility room wall in the downstairs shop.  He needs to get this done so that he can mount the electric box and get electricity down in this area also.

First step is to make the tracks - there are a lot of utilities to account for in this area so Jim drilled these holes to fit around existing pipes.
