The last two days have been record-breaking temperature days - we'll have to see if today's temps broke another one - but a light rain was moving in as we were getting ready to come home.  We haven't had rain in quite awhile so we can use some.

Jim worked this morning on getting things ready for roofing - he got another piece of drip edge made, the last piece of flashing worked out and installed, and a bunch of shingles cut.

So after lunch, he was able to get back on the roof...

End-of-the-day picture...Jim won't be able to put up too many more shingles - next challenge will be to incorporate the trim boards on the gable side into this roof section.
