Jim literally put on his welding hat this morning and made this torquing jig that he will use to get enough force to help twist the posts a bit on the pavilion...

He also welded up one of his braces to mount his brake in the pole barn...

This is how his torquing jig will work...

We loaded up the ceiling joist pieces onto the forks...

And brought them up to the scaffolding...

Starting to cut them to size...

These will have shoulder cuts similar to the secondary beams; Jim is cutting them now...

There was a knot in this wood and it was actually a branch going through the middle!

Three joists all done...

Starting to mark the locations for cutting the shoulder pockets on the beams...

Oops...I was sitting on the treads of the Bobcat today and had Jim's clipboard and glasses near me.  Unfortunately, I got off and failed to take them with me.  When Jim went to move the Bobcat, he ran over both of them.  The clipboard still works but these glasses not so much...

High 88.6/Low 66.2
