Mom and I had a few errands this morning. Jim had gotten everything up to the pavilion and was busy when we got home. Here he's putting the pegs in the back brace...
After lunch, he moved his strap to the middle post and got that joint tight...
Then he used his auger bit to start drilling out the holes for the top pegs...
Both pegs in - a good look at all these joints!
Then he moved to the brace pegs on this middle post...
Drilling out the hole for the bottom joint...
Pounding in the peg...
Jim brought up a couple more old planks and moved them on top of the structure...
The next job was to peg the ceiling joist joint to the beams - starting to drill...
Cutting off the peg...

Working on the other side of that joist...
The first two joists are done - moving to the other bay...
