The forecast was for on/off rain today, so Jim called it an inside day. He unpacked and started figuring out his barn door hardware. This is the top bracket with wheels...
He made a squaring block so that he could drill through the door perfectly...
He turned the door around and did more drilling, including carving out room for the big bolt on top...
Then he took the hardware off and finished painting the back side...
Then he headed into the metal shop to work on his brackets for the brake. The brackets are basically done, but Jim is making some threaded connection pieces...
