Another day that was forecast for maybe rain (even though we didn't get any all weekend), so Jim attended to more things on his to-do list. He spent time looking at the furnace maintenance job and formulating a plan. He is going to look into maybe getting a few more parts. Today though, he undid the neutralizing system from the furnace and got ready to empty the neutralizing beads...
He did a lot of cleaning of those parts, put new beads in, and connected everything back up...
He also started taking apart the chipper to get at the carburetor. After I took this picture, he got the old carburetor out. The new part didn't come with a gasket (why do companies do things like that?) and he's also going to explore replacing a couple of other parts while he has it torn apart.
