We got a little much-needed rain early this morning but then it turned into a gorgeous warm day.  Jim has been wanting to do some grading work so he was glad to see some rain so the ground wouldn't be so dusty.

Jim worked a bit more in the utility room, fastening the plywood to all the studs.

Then I did the first vacuuming - the floor looks so clean!

Upstairs in the apartment, Jim got the next piece of drywall up so this front wall is all done!

Next was the start of the adjoining wall...

Fastening it down.  Jim got the next piece cut, made sure it fit, and then got all the receptacle boxes cut out.  It's already to be put in place tomorrow.

Jim also had to play exterminator today.  First it was the wasps and then the stinkbugs - today there were lots of flies on the back windows!  Jim used the vacuum to get rid of them and take them outside.  Weird...



My mom just missed the leaves changing by a week - they are really starting to look so pretty now.  This is the view coming down the driveway!
