Jim has his new wood stacked up with the help of the rafters - it will dry better this way.
Jim spent the morning working on insulation again - he's got this side of the stairwell in really good shape!
Since he was in the insulation mode, he continued on putting the soundproof insulation in the master bedroom.
After lunch, since the weather was nice, Jim headed out to do some touch-up painting. Our time for outside painting will be drawing to a close soon so we want to take advantage of the warmer temps while they're here.
Touching up around the new security light...
Then we worked on installing the trim boards around the garage doors.
Working on the other garage door...
Putting in the trim board...
Once all the trim boards were fastened in place, time to caulk over all the screw holes. Jim let me do the lower ones, but he's definitely more artistic at this job than I was!
Jim wanted to caulk the bottom area to connect it to the concrete - first he taped both edges...
Then he caulked...
Beautiful! We'll paint this when we paint the rest of the trim boards. Jim is going to order black caulk that he will use next to the brick because it would be way too difficult to try and paint.
Then we moved back up into the apartment. But first - stink bug control!
We cut the next piece of drywall for the bedroom wall...
Cutting the receptacle box...
Finishing the rest of the fasteners!
