Jim worked this morning on putting up the rest of the J-channel on the drywall underneath the lower stairs. He basically had to take all the drywall off and redo it. Plus, he discovered that the Drywall Center had given him one piece of 1/2" J-channel instead of the 5/8" so he's a little short on getting this all done. He's anxious to get this area complete so that he can use it to store building materials.
Since he had put the first coat on polyurethane on the sills, today he lightly sanded them to get read for the next coat.
He drilled the hole for the baseboard heater plumbing in the second bedroom today so this run is basically put together.
Then he started working on the other heater in the master bedroom. He got the soldering done on the plumbing. After this picture was taken, he also got the holes drilled on both sides of this unit.
Jim also drove my car out to the carriage house this morning. He's been wanting to do a little maintenance on it so he did that today also.
