The building inspector told Jim to call him about 10:00 to see if our Certificate of Occupancy was ready. It was so we headed in to the Building Department. Jerry saying congratulations to Jim!

Since Jim told Jerry he would tape the drywall around the fire wall, he did that today...
He got the remainder of the screws in the piece of drywall on the back wall of the stairwell and started turning the corner.

Then Jim worked on making the laundry room door sill...

Trying it out for size. He got it all fit, the holes drilled and stained by the end of the day.
Now that occupancy isn't a worry, it's time to move to our next phase - getting ready to move in! So we made a new checklist of the things that have to be done in each room before we move. Exciting!
