3.5.2018

Jim was busy in the control room this morning.  He finished up the conduit for the electric box for the furnace and then strung the wire.

He had to temporarily remove the insulation so he could string the wire into the box.

He took down the return line for the woodshop manifold and finished soldering the joints.  While he has to solder some in place because of how complicated the run is and how exactly it has to fit, he uses the unions to take it apart and make sure that all the solders are good.  It's one thing to make sure everything is in place but it can't leak!

He also started laying out the return and supply lines for the apartment - those have to go up to the manifold in the woodshop bathroom.

He also got the water lines all finished from the manifold to the water filter.

Mid-afternoon, it was time to switch to plaster - putting the skim coat on in the master bedroom.

Working in the closet...

Starting in the main room...

The high ceilings make this a bit slower since Jim has to work off the ladder...

Finishing up the last part of this wall...

Lots of progress today and things are really coming together.  Jim got yet more deliveries of furnace parts today that will keep him busy!
