Thankfully, Jim was able to get up the driveway again so plowing is on hold for now. It did snow on/off today but didn't accumulate much.
Jim spent the morning in the control room. He worked on soldering the final joints in the return line to the stairwell manifold. He also started building and soldering the return line that will be for the metal shop. That's the line with the sticker on the copper in the picture below - he needs to get more copper pipe to finish it. He'll just cap the end until he's ready to use that manifold. However, in order to do all that work, he had to take apart the main return line to make sure his solder connections were solid. He also did a lot of design work to figure out the lines to the apartment manifold.
He then transitioned into the apartment. He was bound and determined to finish sanding the kitchen - and he met his goal! The kitchen is always the hardest room - not only does it have so many valleys, sloped ceilings and corners but there are a lot of appliances sitting around that he has to work around. You can see all the drywall dust along the edges of the wall that we'll have to be cleaning up soon! Once the kitchen was done, he started working around the corner into the hallway.
