Jim worked this morning on figuring out the next part of the furnace plumbing puzzle - the return line from the apartment manifold, which is located in the woodshop bathroom.  You can see he got started on the design...

Over lunch, I followed Jim to Lowe's.  We had to return the cracked shower side walls and hope that they would take back our other shower door that won't work now.  However, Jim had to first move the shower doors from the stairwell where they have been, down to the car.  These is a crazy heavy door - weighing over 100 pounds - and of course all glass so you have to be super careful.  The best way to do that would be to take them out the way they came in - through the stairwell double doors.  But that would require being able to drive up the other driveway - Jim tried yesterday and there was no way the 4Runner would make it up right now with all the snow and ice underneath.  So he had to use his mover's straps and carry the door down the stairs and through the metal shop.

Thankfully, even though it took awhile, once we got to Lowe's we were able to return both items.  Jim will just reorder what we need.  While we were there, Jim bought some plywood and a 2"x6" that he needed.  The 4Runner is so awesome - with the back seat out, he can haul pretty much whatever he needs!

Unfortunately, the same story held true for getting the plywood up into the woodshop - Jim had to maneuver the pieces up the stairwell.

The table saw was already set up for cutting the groove in the treads so Jim went ahead and finished that project - looks amazing!

Once he reset the saw, he was able to cut the 2"x6" to the size he needed.  Because we are now using the shower surround, Jim has to do some modifications to the space, including extending the wall a bit.

At the end of the day, he put some more receptacles in the second bedroom.
High 31/Low 6 - still cold!
