Jim worked in the control room this morning soldering the joints in the return line from the apartment manifold.
Then he worked on figuring out the plumbing for the water softener.
Mid-afternoon we switched to our first paint in the apartment - putting primer on the walls in the second bedroom! This is such a big step!

Jim had to take the light fixture off to get behind it...
Moving into the entry...
Then into the closet...
This primer goes on gray to help with painting and then dries white. Jim was really happy with the primer as well as the wall surface. The skim coating seemed to make a difference.
Closet all done...
Putting primer on the walls is such a finishing step that it really feels like a huge accomplishment! Definitely a red letter (or gray/white?) day for us!
