I headed out to the plumbing supply company this morning to pick up Jim's order to save him a trip. Meanwhile, he got busy in the control room. The first thing he did was to move the filter down a bit to make a better fit in the room as well as to the water softener.
Then he put together the top of the water softener (is it just me or does this look a bit like Darth Vader?).
He also hooked up the switch for the furnace...
Then he cut the grooves in the treads and put two more risers on the staircase!
In the afternoon, we headed back up to the apartment to do so more cleaning. We swept the walls...
and the floors...
We vacuumed around the edges of the floor just to get any loose dust away. The kitchen is all done now, appliances back where they belong - another room ready for primer!
Next we worked in the hallway...it's all swept clean except for vacuuming.
Some of the special polypropylene vent pipes are starting to arrive so Jim spent some time looking into that at the end of the day.
