Jim again started in the control room this morning - the water softener is now connected to the manifold! Using the new parts, he was able to redo the corner the way he wanted and get everything fit and glued together.
He worked more in the shower - figuring out how he wanted to do the top piece of plywood. He had decided to do the back in two pieces so that the top piece laps over the side piece. He had to do a little adjustment on the big piece (requiring lots of trips up and down the stairs to cut!) and got a few screws in to hold it in place.
This kitchen area that Jim painted on Thursday looks even better when it's dried - the valleys look amazing!
Mid-afternoon, Jim picked up where he left off....
Rolling the primer on the side wall...
Starting on the back wall...
Continuing around - last kitchen wall!
Starting in the kitchen hallway...
Turning the corner and starting to go down the hall...
It was getting late, so Jim stopped when the paint ran out in his tray. Lots of good progress!
While Jim was painting, I worked for awhile scraping plaster droppings and vacuuming the laundry room floor in advance of doing grout hopefully this week!
