9.18.2020

I had to run some grocery errands this morning and Jim was busy working on plastering while I was gone. He spent most of the time putting all the fasteners in the drywall he had already installed in this area - that's a lot of screws!

He needed to mix up some plaster for skim coating, so he needed to use some plaster out of the bucket to allow room to add water.  So he used the plaster to start working on building up the next pilaster...

After all the plaster mess was cleaned up, he switched his attention to getting ready for concrete.  He scooped away the gravel that had been piled up next to the concrete to allow the cars to go up and started grading...

This area next to the pole barn is all set too, plus he put more dirt and gravel behind the forms...

He put gravel behind the forms on the other side and brought up small gravel just to do finer grading...

Checking depth...

Things are in really good shape for a Monday pour but tomorrow will be the day for final tweaking.

High 60/Low 32 - frost advisory!
