9.15.2020

We had our chilliest morning so far this season - it was 37 when we woke up!  I think fall is here - fine by us!  Of course, we are still hoping for lots of good weather to come!

Jim's eye doctor wanted him to have one more test run today so he left early this morning to take care of that.  We're always happy that they take extra precautions to make sure everything is working the way it should!

Once he got home, he had some phone calls to make.  Jim has checked schedules with Kyle and we are hoping to do the next concrete pour on Monday!  So Jim called and ordered a full truck of concrete to come early in the morning.  He also called and got on the schedule to have our septic tank pumped.  This will be the first time so we are anxious to see how everything is working.  They are busy and can't come until October, which is fine.

After all that, he leveled my new freezer...

Put the handle on...

Now I'm ready to start filling it up!

Then he spent the rest of his time starting to put the auto bay back together.  He got the garage door tracks back in place and two lights up in place and wired.

Mid-afternoon, Jim headed outside to do a little more form work...

Checking elevations...

Checking elevations on the other side...

Jim took a break from form work at the end of the day to grab a bucketful of rocks and put them on the rock wall; we've kind of neglected that work because of all the other more pressing things.
