We were watching tv last night and lost internet about 9:00. Jim rebooted things but saw that we could no longer see our router so figured there was an issue with that. We called Spectrum and the tech walked Jim through all the necessary tests before scheduling an appointment to come and replace the unit. Our tech showed up early for his appointment and they discovered that the power adaptor for the router had failed. He replaced that and we were good to go. Very fast service!
While Jim was waiting for Spectrum, he did a little cleaning of the concrete saw in anticipation of its use at the end of the week.
After Spectrum left, Jim was able to get back to work on plastering in the auto bay, finishing up the hip ceiling joints...
Then after lunch, it was out to the driveway to work on forms...
Using the Bobcat to do some grading...
Figuring out slope from the pole barn...
Pounding in some stakes...
Shooting elevations to make sure everything is at the right position...
This will be the frame piece for the bottom edge of the upper section pour...
We decided to take the concrete to the end of the pole barn, so Jim had to get some dirt out...
Filling in with gravel....
Bringing gravel in to bring everything to grade...
And gravel behind the forms to hold them in place...
The grading is done in this area. Jim still has things to do but everything is in pretty good shape now with the hard parts done.
