After that, Jim headed out on his errands. He was disappointed to learn that the Drywall Center no longer has their boneyard where they put pieces of steel that were damaged and they couldn't sell for full price. Instead he had to pay pull price for the pieces he was looking for to build our little package shed but the good news is that his rep added the pieces onto a shipment that is coming in tomorrow. So that's good news.
Jim also stopped at the Bobcat store which is right down the street from the Drywall Center. He wanted to talk to them about the snowblower. There is a high-flow motor for this snow blower that will work better with Jim's machine. He got some good information to ponder.
Once he got back to Angel, he got busy working back in the metal shop on the lights. He mounted the fixture on the bracket that he had previously attached.
He then had to figure out the path he wanted to take power into this bay and the auto bay. Once he did that, he started cutting the path in the foam to the switch box.
In order to get the conduit in that pathway, he had to put a slight bend in the straight pipe using his heat gun.
The conduit is attached and fit down into the foam!
Jim cut the day a little short because we had to go into Saratoga and order his new reading glasses before our insurance expires at the end of the year. We also took the opportunity to try a new place to eat - a great corner pub! We even topped the night with a scoop of Ben & Jerry's!
