12.22.2018

Kind of a sloppy day today after all the rain yesterday.  The ground was frozen pretty deep so the warm temps and rain thawed the top layers and that water has nowhere to go.  This is the only time we have mud and it's not fun to work in!

We did some cleaning up this morning - broke down all our cardboard and took that and the siding scrap to the recycling center.

Jim also spent time putting together a tool cart.  When he bought the air compressor, he got a credit to spend at their website.  He wanted this cart to use when he was working on cars because it's on wheels and will help keep things organized.  But he's not sure he's happy with the quality of it so we may investigate calling them.

In the afternoon, Jim ventured out into the mud to do some pole barn work.  He got the fascia on the back side...

And the rest of the front...

He started cutting the piece for over the door....

Before he can put up any more siding, he has to put up the J-channel around the garage door.

He had to call it a bit short on the work day because we are headed off to church now.  He also put in an order at Lowe's for more Romex wire so we will pick that up after Mass.  That way he can continue the wiring work in the metal shop.
