Happy 29th Anniversary to my amazing husband!  Hard to believe it's been that long but it's been a wonderful journey together and we're happier than ever!

Jim had lots of project management work to do today.  He got a call that the siding trim pieces were in so he went and picked those up this morning.  He spent quite awhile on the phone too - he tried to work out the gas company to pick up our two small tanks.  There was an issue at first and they wanted to charge us a fee but after going through a long explanation, they took that off the table.  Jim also wanted them to top off the tank when they came out; however, they said they would only come for 100 gallons or more and right now we probably only need 50 or 75 to top it off.  He'll watch the levels and try to get it topped off while the weather and driveway are in good shape.  The gas company called later on and said they couldn't pick up the tanks until January 3rd so who knows what kind of shape things will be at that point.

Jim also sold one of his bullet heaters on craigslist today.  He spent some time cleaning it all up and getting it ready.  We are actually meeting the buyer tonight at a local fire station for the handoff!  It's another thing that we don't need out of the way.  Jim has the bigger heater he can use in the metal shop now.

Jim also did some more work on the garage door opener today.  He first worked on the tracks that are already installed.  Then he got the motor attached to the rails.

Jim knocked off a little early and we headed into Saratoga to pick up his new reading glasses.  Then we went to the local fire station to meet the buyer for the heater.  This guy has lived in the area his whole life - he was familiar with our property and said he thought they used horses when they cleared some of the trees right before we bought it!

After that transaction, we went back into Saratoga and celebrated our anniversary with some nachos, beer and topped it off with a Ben & Jerry's ice cream!  A great night!
