In the furnace room, Jim spent time pondering. He has decided that he really needs temperature mixing valves on the supply manifold lines that feed the Pex inside concrete - which means everywhere except the apartment. That requires a lot more room to bring cold water lines into the setup. Coming up with the plan is always the hardest part. He did get the top piece of drywall on this wall, including the J-channel around the top and beam side edges. That will give him room if he needs it for pump placement.
In between plowing, Jim spent some time up in the apartment plastering. All of the screws are now covered in the second bedroom and its closet.
Then he started in the kitchen - he put a second coat on the taped joints and covered all the screws with a first coat in this hall and nook area.
