10.7.2016

I started the day off with a trip to Lowe's for more caulk, as well as to pick up a few groceries.

Jim, meanwhile, was busy as always at the property.  He tore down the scaffolding tower by the stairwell and built up the front tower.

More scaffolding work...bringing up another section for the back.

Jim spent the afternoon working on all the details in this back corner and filling in the shingles - it sure looks amazing!

Putting up the flashing on the top of the window...

Flashing and starter piece all in place....

By the end of the day, Jim got the top of the window all finished and the freeze board on!

In addition, we got lots of painting done.  Because we're starting to feel the pinch of colder weather coming, we have to take full advantage of these nice days.  So I had an outside painting station, the two inside, as well as painting upstairs in the apartment - for a total of over 300 shingles painted!  We'll be ready for pallet #7 tomorrow.

We watched the Tribe beat the Red Sox last night and got to see the end of the game tonight where they shut them out - Go Tribe!
