Jim did a little electric work getting ready to take power from the upper breaker box to the lower. He had to come up with an idea of how to run the conduit.
Jim eventually got outside and was able to work on the shoulder flashing. He had to figure out a way to get the shingle underneath the flashing to make sure nothing leaked. Once he was happy, he caulked...
and then placed the shingle with multiple cuts.
After that, he was able to continue placing shingles.
Because of the weather, no shingle painting today for the first time in awhile. It was chilly and damp so even inside wasn't a good choice. We're supposed to have warmer temps in the coming days. I worked on separating and unwrapping pallet #9's shingles - probably the last we'll do until we see how many more we will need.
This was a short day because of church so I had to leave a little before Jim did to get ready. I'll update the end of the day picture tomorrow!
The leaves are so pretty...just a couple shots at the property...
