10.15.2016

Jim had to figure out flashing for around the edge of the fascia board where it will meet the shingles.  So many different pieces of flashing everywhere.  But then he started working across the rows.  In the picture below, he's using his new stud finder...

Jim wanted to get the rows carried over so that he got underneath the other side's fascia board.  Then the plan is to build up to the peak (yikes).

Marking stud lines...

Building across again...

Doing a little touch-up painting before the sun sets...

Time to move scaffolding...

End-of-the-day picture...

I was back in outside painting mode this afternoon - did over 175 outside.  Of course, then at the end of the day, all of those needed to be brought in to continue drying inside.  Plus I got the apartment painting station all stocked up with shingles awaiting painting.

We were able to listen to the Indians/Jays game on the radio today, since it was a 4:00 start.  We got home and showered just in time to see them win and go up 2-0 in the series!  Go Tribe!!
