10.6.2016

Jim had another detail day - he had lots of trim work to make, including tiny corner angle pieces and the small trim pieces that go under the fascia board.

Then it was on to finishing up the details for the bottom roof section by the dormer wall.  It's really tough to get pictures, but Jim got the steel backing plate made and attached, the fascia board on, the soffit and freeze board!  So this area is done!  It's really hard to get good pictures from the ground - too many things in the way.

After that, he made and installed window trim and flashing on the upper back window.  Then he started on the shingle pieces that were custom to fit around all the flashing.  Cutting a tiny piece out...

Installing the shingle next to all the flashing connections...

Jim got to use our new forks for the first time - we needed another pallet of shingles.

It was a good painting day - I got almost 200 shingles painted and about 2/3 of the pallet unwrapped and separated.

High 72/Low 44 - beautiful!
