12.7.2020

Jim continued working on the lower sill for the stairwell window this morning - this is very complicated.  Besides all the angles, he has to bevel the back to fit flush, so he is very careful to do the cuts in small increments...

Cutting the depth off to where he wants it...

A final fit...

Happy with the way it fits, time for sanding...

Then a coat of primer on the back side...

Kyle brought up some of his red MDF from a cabinet job he did - Jim decided to make new fences for his shaper - this required using the drill press downstairs and making a three step hole.  But they sure look cool!

He did some winter prep work today - he got the battery out of the chipper so it joins the excavator battery inside where it will be better for them...

Then he drained the gas out of all three chain saws - he'll run them tomorrow to get the last of the gas out...

He also had to do make some phone calls today.  He got back in touch with the company about the tile saw he ordered a couple months ago; they still have no word on when they'll be able to get the motors.  Jim found another one at Home Depot that he will probably get.  He also called the lumberyard to see if they were still open and if they had the wood he was looking for - they are and they did so a road trip may be in our future soon!
