12.18.2020

A bitter cold start to the day - it was 2° when I woke up this morning.  Tonight is supposed to be even colder.  Brr...

I had been working on a fire school mailing this morning and had to take it to the post office around noon as well as pick up more flyers from my printer.  Jim had to do just a little hand shoveling in front of the garage door where the snowblower couldn't reach but he was able to get pretty close so thankfully it wasn't too much.  However, even though the sun was bright and the skies were clear all day, most of the snow is still on the roof of the carriage house where the snow guards are.  When all that comes down, there will be lots more snow clean up to do.

However, it is amazing how well they take care of the roads here.  The day after we received over 3 feet of snow, the roads were just wet when I went out.  My printer is located a bit north of us in the Adirondack Park and the roads were still spotless.

In the shop today, Jim worked on doing the millwork on the side panels...

The rabbet cuts are made on the top...

That millwork is all done...

Jim did some work in the metal shop on the electric but he said it wasn't picture worthy yet - ha!  I'll catch him unawares tomorrow!
