Jim worked on making the blocking/support pieces for the cabinets this morning - here he's planing the wood to the right thickness...

Making the cuts on the back...

Also did a little stairwell decorating - hanging up our board with the newspaper article that was written about the house Jim built in Ohio!

In the afternoon, Jim worked more on the electric wiring in the metal shop.  We have been using one receptacle on this wall for the treadmill.  Jim had to shut power off to this circuit and take the receptacle apart...

Splicing the wires to run to the other box.  For now, he capped the wires in that box and then rewired the original receptacle so that we can continue to use it for the treadmill.

He ran armor cable between the established light switches and the new box that will operate the metal shop area lights (they are on order).  Next job will be to open up the light switch and splice into them to power the new light switch.

Jim stopped work a bit early and got the 4Runner ready to go to Lowe's to get plywood.  This is the one time that a pickup truck or van would really come in handy!  But Jim had previously built a support box that he uses to be able to convert the back of the 4Runner to a more flat surface that will hold the plywood.  Unloading...
