Jim started the millwork on the sink cabinet base today. He had to do some handwork to make the inset section where the access door will go. Using a saw...
And a chisel...
But it looks perfect now!
A coat of polyurethane for protection. Jim will put formica on this so you'll never see any of it but he does everything perfect anyway!
After that, he switched to finishing up the rewiring of the light switches in the metal shop. He had to turn the power off so he had to work just with a small work light, pulling wires from the original light switch box to the new switch box...
Putting the boxes back together...
He put armor cable between the two boxes...
Once that job was done and the lights were back on, he started working on making and installing the baseboard in this area...
Baseboard is all installed and this area is basically ready for drywall! Jim had to move things around so that he'll be ready for that job.
