Jim finished making the cuts on the mounting pieces for the cabinets...

Showing me how they fit onto the back piece he cut...

Starting to fit it together...

All assembled...

Fitting the bottom window frame moulding to the window in the stairwell...

Once he got it sized, the end piece attached and everything sanded, it was time for staining...

Wiping off the stain...

Jim was just a bit short on having enough of the baseboard material to finish the metal shop area, so we picked up another piece at Lowe's last night.  Jim had ordered all the rest from his roofing supply company so there was a bit of sticker shock at Lowe's.  But it was only one piece so that's okay.  He'll rip this piece down the middle to make two lengths.

Jim felt like he was in limbo this afternoon - he had made some calls about our lights as well as the car lift and was waiting for people to call back.  So he hated to do anything messy/loud and miss calls.  Plus people don't typically do what they say they are going to do so that adds to the frustration!

Jim had put the Bobcat and snowblower outside yesterday to let some of the accumulated ice/snow pack melt off a bit outside rather than inside the pole barn.  He got that cleaned up and tucked back away.
