Hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas!
After bingeing on cinnamon rolls this morning, Jim and I had more cabinet design discussions. I'm really excited - Jim ordered a couple pieces that he'll integrate into the system. I'm very excited about all of this! Then he headed down to the wood shop. Here he's looking through his wood stacks for soft maple to use for cabinet face frames. We know we'll have to head to the lumberyard at some point to replenish.

Next, he sanded all of the side panels...
Then he put a coat of primer on them...
What a difference a week makes! Last Thursday we got well over 3' of snow and this is what our patio looked like...
Yesterday and today we had warm temperatures and rain - amazing how quickly the snow melted! However, the temperatures have dropped steadily all day so all of this water will freeze. Thankfully, our driveway is now totally clear of snow so we won't have any issues.
