Jim worked on more stairwell work today - the last of the spindle work is done and looking great!
Jim also experimented on the handrails - he wanted to make the upper and lower rails come out to the same distance. This will prevent you from running into the top one by taking the corner too sharply. It looks really good so eventually he'll do this on the other handrails but definitely not a priority at the moment.
After lunch, it was back to working on the living room floor. The last three rows required a lot of time - two had to be predrilled and hand nailed and the last one against the wall had to be predrilled and screwed into place.
But it's all done and all the tools are moved out of the living room!
