Jim worked on hooking up the drain for the bathroom sink - we now have running water! Another huge block to check!
He installed the rest of the baseboard heaters in the second bedroom...
He made lots of man glitter today...
He was planing some rough sawn pine boards that he bought from the lumberyard - he's going to start planning doorframes in the apartment! A bathroom door for sure is a requirement for occupancy.
After all that, he switched to flooring in the afternoon. He had to first make and install all the splines in the other side of the keel board...
Then color the splines...
Then he was good to work in either direction - which is just what he did!

Jim went as far as he could and then it was time to move the stove. This is the first unveiling!
Jim got some cardboard and carefully moved the stove onto it...
Just about there!
I am SO excited about using this stove - it's gorgeous! I'll probably do a little cleaning on the outside tomorrow.
Now that the stove is out of the way, Jim had a little more hand planing to do on the joints.
After cleaning up, Jim had to do a little more lawn cutting at the end of the day.
