Another beautiful day - we headed out in the afternoon to first do some clean up work. Jim has dug up so many stumps that need to be out of the way, so he used the excavator to load them into the bucket...
Some of these look like they have a life of their own!
We took the first bucketful deep into the woods - Jim may bury them some day but for now, they are out of the way. Starting to load up the next bucket...
So many stumps...
We took that bucketful back and then Jim dug out a few more stumps...

It just looks and feels so good when things get cleaned up...
Before Jim starts moving dirt in this area, a little metal detecting. We found two nails and some weird metal casing. Still waiting for our gold coins!
Using the excavator to scrape off some dirt off the edge of the driveway area...
Jim removed all the topsoil from this area and put it into a pile...
Then scooped up some of our dirt pile...
And started to grade....
Starting to cut a driveway of sorts to go back to the potential shed location...
Things are starting to take shape!
Jim got all the tools and equipment put away, and then had to go get gas and diesel fuel.
