Jim had to deal with more project management tasks today, but things hopefully are falling into place. I got a call from the town road department this morning and they plan on doing the roadwork next week. Then Jim got a call that the power trowel is going to be delivered tomorrow. He also ordered 22 tons of gravel - he got a call that that will be delivered on Friday. So hopefully we can get all that done before the road work!
Last night, I noticed that wasps had made nests while the stairwell window was open and the wasps were buzzing around. This morning, Jim brought up his small air compressor and cleaned it out that way. He didn't want to spray and ruin the windows and it's a complicated window to reach from outside. This worked great - then we shut the window!
In the afternoon, he started moving his accumulated dirt...
Then he started digging to clean up the rest of the driveway edges...
Taking turns to clean up the dirt in the Bobcat...
Then back-dragging the edges - it's always scary to watch him go downhill like this but he's a good operator!
Looking so nice...
Always have to deal with big rocks..
As part of being in the Mug Club, they have a once-a-year party where you have to go and renew your membership. Jim hated to go by himself, but it was the only option. Hopefully he's getting some good food and a beer while he's there!
