Jim got all the tools and equipment ready and after lunch, our first task was to shoot some elevations to see where we were...
Jim wanted to scrape just a couple of inches off. That would normally be easy to do with the bucket, but with so many rocks, it just doesn't work. Using the excavator works well...
Then using the bucket to scoop the loose dirt...
Jim's using the dirt to continue to build up the area for the shed...

I picked out rocks as Jim scraped, but thank goodness for the thumb for the bigger ones!

Sure love the way this is coming out! This is the view at the end of the driveway with the shed spot on the far right...
Looking the other way - things are getting really close to where Jim wants them for the driveway and he'll be thinking about ordering gravel soon!
