9.7.2024

Jim had ordered some new teeth for the excavator.  He had replaced them when he first bought it, but they've done a lot of hard work since then!  The first time, he had a ton of trouble getting the pins out of the teeth to replace them.  He just took one off today and he was able to get it off without too much issue.  This is the old one...

The new ones he bought have flat edges - he wanted them to do more precise edging work.  But look at how worn the first one is compared to the main part of the new ones!

Rain was in the forecast and it did start raining in the afternoon - much needed!  So Jim planned for an inside day.  Next task was to bring the Tiger Cub into the auto bay...

It was time for a good greasing...

He also greased up the chipper and the Bobcat.  With so much valuable equipment, he has to take good care of it all so that it's ready for use.

He worked in the metal shop for a while too (pictures to come!), plus he lugged down some holiday tubs from the pole barn for me.

High 70.3/Low 57.2 - rain in PM
