Jim had to get his drill press all set up to make the mortise cuts in the rail pieces on the door...
He can make such a nice cut this way...

All glued and drying...
He finished up routing the edges of the sash...
Then he was able to remove the broken glass and clean up all the edges. He'll be ordering new glass for this sash this week.
With the time he had left in the work day, Jim started working on the next section of hallway baseboard. He had previously marked the location of the studs, but double-checked the location by tapping in a nail...
