10.10.2018

Jim worked this morning on windows - plus we worked on getting off tape residue from the windows we've finished (note to self - green tape does not work well on windows!  The temperatures were great for this work but we are still battling the bugs.

Moving outside, Jim worked on putting up more rafters.

The inside rafters are all finished!  We just have the end ones left to do.

In order to put those up, we need to get some scaffolding built.  Jim brought the Bobcat up to the stairwell area and loaded up some of the unused sections.

Then it was time to build it up on the side of the pole barn.

You can see how much the ground rolls off from the building, so Jim had to do some shoveling and creative blocking to get everything level, especially for the second section.

Finishing up the top section...

We had to unearth some of the feet and cross braces from their temporary storage area in the auto bay to get enough materials to start the first section of scaffolding in the front.

After that, Jim had to spend some time putting the windows back in before calling it a day!
High 77/Low 65 - beautiful!
