Another hot day with a heat advisory out but that doesn't keep Jim from working hard. He said he barely even sat down for lunch today.
He was busy with more window staining - the bathroom...
And a top sash in the living room...
He also hung up our towel rack in the bathroom - it looks awesome! I think we found the perfect bathroom accessories!
Jim took these old shelves out to the carriage house and did some strengthening work on them. Jim had made these shelves way back when he built his first house and had no real power tools. We've gotten lots of use out of them. Jim is going to put a coat of paint on them and we'll use them temporarily in the laundry room and bathroom - they'll eventually have a home in the pole barn. I love how we keep using things with such history!
Unfortunately, Jim has to do some truck work so he started by changing the oil in the truck.
At the end of the day, Jim had to knock off early to get some grass cutting done. With the rain and warm temperatures, it needed some attention!
