Jim spent time this morning taking apart some tv/stereo equipment in the living room. Then he loaded up the 4Runner with more boxes and shelves and headed out to unload it all into the carriage house.
He stained one of the upper window sashes in the living room...
But the main focus on the short day was to tackle more moving - we had to clear out all the stuff that we had stored in the back of the box truck all winter. Unfortunately, this was one of our hot and humid days with heat advisories out - not the best conditions to do this kind of nasty moving jobs. Most of the stuff back here was heavy including lots of scaffolding. Jim did find 3 baby mice (eek!) and deposited them into the grass down the hill.
However, at the end of our work day, things were looking really good! Some of these heavy tools will stay in place but there's still lots of room for moving household things.
There was already this set of scaffolding set up in the auto bay - Jim added some planks and then we loaded it up. So all that stuff isn't really taking up any more room - a great temporary solution.
