Jim made the brace pieces for the front knee braces this morning - they look amazing!
Here he's putting the curve on the other brace with the band saw...
Once they were all made, I got them primed.
Another outside job tackled today was wiring up the lights under the side overhang...
Let there be light!
While Jim was working on these lights, I continued stuffing insulation in the side of the window. I had to open up the new bag of cellulose insulation and start breaking it up as well.
We were totally out of drywall screws - have gone through 8,000! Jim ordered another box and it came last night so he was able to finish putting the rest of the screws in the last couple pieces he put up.
Finishing the screws in the pieces around the door of the second bedroom...
Using the Rotozip to trim all the edges...
Putting the corner bead on...
The second bedroom is now totally drywalled! At the end of the day, Jim moved into the master bedroom. The only spots to finish there are around the closet. He got the pieces all cut and ready to go for tomorrow.
Jim spent his lunch hour going to the Drywall Center. He picked up more baffles and insulation for the auto bay as well as put in our next order for drywall! That should be delivered some time next week.
